Gianmarco Tamberi's mother after Camilla's birth: "Now I'm getting ready to be a sprint grandmother."

Ancona, August 15, 2025 – “Chiara had been hospitalized at Salesi since yesterday morning (Wednesday, ed.), waiting to give birth ,” says Sabrina Piastrellini, Gianmarco Tamberi's mother. “Everyone at the hospital was very nice and kind, so thank you. We waited outside. Chiara was with her mother and Gimbo , and I exchanged text messages with her while we waited. So, we'd been waiting for the little one to decide to come out for a while. She was quick, it's true, and she made herself heard. I'm sure she has a strong personality.”

Sabrina Piastrellini, Gianmarco Tamberi's mother, is thrilled after the birth of little Camilla.

Here's the first immediate comment from grandmother Sabrina, who can barely contain her excitement for what is also a milestone for her, different from her son's, different even from when she used to compete in the long jump. A new adventure called Camilla: "Gianmarco hugged me, he immediately told me she's beautiful, and when I saw her, I noticed it too. She's indeed very pretty, with a small, sweet face .
